Zeynep Ata has a degree in Industrial Engineering from ITÜ. She completed her MBA degree at METU and PhD in Management at Boğaziçi University. Dr. Ata teaches undergraduate and graduate level courses in International Logistics, Supply Chain Management and Statistics. Her current research interests include Supply Chain Management, Production and Operations Management, and Sustainable Supply Chains.

Oguzhan Aygören is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Department of International Trade at Boğaziçi University. In addition, he is the vice director for the Entrepreneurship Center and a board member in the Innovation Center. He is also the coordinator of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate Program and International Competition and Trade Graduate Program. He is interested in topics such as value creation at startups, how corporations can become more innovative, brand management, consumer choice behavior and voting behavior. His work appeared in journals such as International Journal of E-business Research and Harvard Business Review Turkey. He has presented his studies in international conferences such as ACR (Association of Consumer Research), AMA (American Marketing Association), AMS (Academy of Marketing Science), and APSA (American Political Science Association) in various countries and has been a reviewer for AMA Marketing Educators conference. Prior to joining Boğaziçi, he was an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Technical University. Besides he was a visiting research scholar at UC Berkeley during fall 2014 and a visiting researcher at Stanford University during summer 2016 where he works on joint research projects. He has a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University and an MBA degree from Koc University and London Business School. He has completed his PhD in Marketing at Boğaziçi University. Before academia, he worked at Procter & Gamble as the head of innovation followed by an entrepreneurship experience where he joined and cofounded three startups in the fields of e-commerce, mobile marketing and social networking. He is currently active in the entrepreneurship ecosystem as a mentor, advisor and board member. He is an academic advisory board member of Endeavor Turkey and also gives consulting and training to companies at executive levels.

Arhan S. Ertan is currently an assistant professor of economics & finance at the department of International Trade at Boğaziçi University. He received his PhD in Economics from Brown University and has MA degrees in Economics from both Brown University and Boğaziçi University as well as a BS degree in Engineering from Boğaziçi University. During the academic year before he joined the faculty of Boğaziçi University, he was a visiting of assistant professor of economics at Brown University.

His academic interest spans various topics related to economic development (with a long-term and institutional perspective), behavioral economics (focusing on the role of personal characteristics and the efficiency of institutions), international economics (trade and finance), migration and international conflict. In his research, which is mostly empirical and interdisciplinary, he is aiming to provide new perspectives for explaining the developmental differences and problems observed around the globe.

His academic work has been published in prestigious international journals and the one published at European Economic Review earned the 'Most Cited Article Award'. He was the main advisor of the dissertations of 8 PhD and 3 masters' students.

During the earlier years of his career, he held various full-time faculty positions in some of the most prestigious universities in USA such as, New York University (2011-2012), Boston University (2009-2011), Tufts University (2008-2009) and Babson College (2007-2008) where he taught numerous courses at graduate and undergraduate levels. Between 2012 and 2018, he worked as an assistant professor of economics at the Faculty of Management of Kadir Has University, where he organized two international finance conferences, several workshops and a large number of economics and finance seminars. He also taught courses, as a visiting faculty, at several other universities such as Boston College, Northeastern University, University of Rhode Island, Sabancı University, Özyeğin University, Koç University and Boğaziçi University.

Nisan Selekler-Göksen is a professor of management. She received her BA and PhD degrees from the Department of Management at BogaziçUniversity and her MBA from the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University. Her research interests include corporate governance, family firms, higher education and strategic alliances. She has published in journals such as Journal of Business Research, British Journal of Management, Education and Science, Personnel Review, and European Management Journal. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in international business, cross-cultural management and strategic management.

Asli Deniz Helvacioglu graduated from Marmara University, Department of International Relations in 1995. She completed her graduate studies at the EU Institute of Marmara University, MA on European Union and PhD on EU Law. After having worked as an EU consultant for 8 years, she joined Boğaziçi University in 2003 and became a full-time scholar in 2004. Research interest is built upon innovation, competition and policy-making with a special emphasis to Turkey-EU Relations in the framework of EU law and policies. Helvacioglu is the Director of Center for Innovation and Competition-Based Development Studies.

Mehtap (Özcanli) Isik has BSc degree in Mathematics, MA and PhD degrees in Economics from Boğaziçi University. After she had worked as a Risk analyst at Citibank, Istanbul, she started her academic career as a teaching assistant at Department of Mathematics and Department of Economics, Boğaziçi University. She joined the Department of International Trade as a full-time faculty member at 2005. Her research interests include microeconomic theory, firm theory, network theory, international trade, development and growth and Middle East political economy. She is also lecturing in these subjects at Department of International Trade, Department of Economics and Institute of Social Sciences, Boğaziçi University.

Osman Sabri Kiratli is an associate professor in International Trade Department of Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. Originally trained in Political Science, he holds a BA degree from Sabanci University, and MA and PhD degrees from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, awarded in 2007 and 2012 respectively. His research areas include European edonomic and political integration, foreign policy making, International Political Economy and international negotiations. He has publications in various journals including European Union Politics (EUP), Turkish Studies, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, Cambridge Review of International Affairs and Finans, Politik & Ekonomik Yorumlar Dergisi.

Özlem Yildirim-Öktem is an Associate Professor of Management and Strategy. She received her Ph.D. in Management from Bocconi University in 2005. Her research interests include family businesses, corporate governance, and organizational forms. She has publications in Journal of Business Research, British Journal of Management, Journal of Management and Governance and in some internationally indexed Turkish journals. She has taught courses such as Research Methodology, Strategic Management, and Human Resource Management.

Gökhan Akay is an Associate Professor of International Economics. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from University of Houston in 2005. His research interests include international trade, international finance, and economic development. Prior to joining Boğaziçi, he worked at Trinity University and Istanbul Kemerburgaz University. He has publications in Journal of Productivity, International Review of Economics and Finance, Economic Modelling and Tourism Economics. He has taught courses such as International Trade, Exchange Rate Regimes and Trade, Firms and Markets, Economic Growth and Development and Microeconomics.

Hanna Stakheyeva is an Assistant Professor at the Boğaziçi University since April 2016. She has been teaching International Business Law, Intellectual Property and Competition, and Business Communications at the Department of International Trade. Hanna conducts research into competition law matters with a particular focus on the EU, Ukraine and Turkey. She has numerous publications both in academic and business journals. Prior to joining the Boğaziçi University, Hanna worked as a competition lawyer at Baker & McKenzie (Kyiv, Ukraine) and King & Wood Mallesons (Brussels, Belgium). She has been a visiting lecturer at the annual summer school on M&A organized by ELSA in collaboration with ACTECON (Istanbul, Turkey). Hanna is a member of the Bar (Advokatura) of Ukraine and the Academic Society for Competition Law. Hanna graduated from the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (B.L and Ph.D. in International law) and University of Amsterdam (LL.M in European Business law). She also holds International Baccalaureate diploma from the UWC "Atlantic" (Wales, UK). Hanna is fluent in Russian, Ukrainian and English.

Arzu Tektas is professor of quantitative decison making. She holds a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and PhD in operations management. She has developed and taught courses such as operations analysis and planning, quantitative analysis, production management, innovation managemet, productivity. Her research interests focus on business innovation, productivity, competitiveness of SMEs; fund efficiency in EU harmonization process; insurance premium and rating systems; supply chain management. She has published in various international journals including European Journal of Operations Research, Contemporary Economic Policy, Journal of Risk Finance.

Gözde Ünal is an Associate Professor of Finance in the International Trade Department at BogaziçUniversity, where she teaches Financial Accounting, Risk and Insurance, Trade Finance courses for undergraduates and International Financial Management for graduate students. Prior to her academic career, she worked in the corporate finance field. During her professional career she accomplished a wide variety of corporate finance projects delivering consultancy, due diligence, industry analysis, valuation of companies in privatizations, initial public offerings, and merger and acquisitions. Her academic research interests include risk management, stochastic modelling, corporate governance and financial literacy. Her research appears in journals such asJournal of Risk Model Validation, Finance a Úver (Czech Journal of Economics and Finance), International Journal of Shipping and Transport Logistics, Journal of Financial Regulation and Compliance, The International Journal of Business and Finance Research.
